This, just in from my Dad. Thanks Dad!

Dear Jon,
I called Devon at Mike's and they were going to look at a DVD. I plan to go out with him tomarrow. Lauren may be coming up to pick him up, so I'll have to see what his plans are.
I reminded him to pray and read the Bible before he goes to sleep and he said he would. We are enlisting many to pray for you and Devon during this time you are away from him.
Have a good nights rest in the Lord. Love you Dad and mom

Hey uncle jon,(:
this is Lo, just wanted to let you know that the last couple days spent with devon and the fam have been very good with everyones company and such. its mind blowing to me how much love we really have in our family, and it makes me so happy knowing that we can all spend time together so comfortably. we spend some time in the word yesterday. it was really nice. dev, justin, michael, uncle mike, aunty joy and me all went to the park and just had a little devotional/sharing/bonding time. we shared our favorite verses that help sustain us, and just stuff that we realize and love in our every day life. it was a really great day, and i was going to tell you this over the phone this morning when i answered dev's cell and said, "hello, devon yoshimine's phone..." haha, but yeah i just couldn't. i've noticed that i can't talk to you for that long without loosing it, so when devon kept walking pass me and watching me talk on HIS phone and he kept doing his ginormous lip thing that somewhat relieved me.(: so anyway, i just wanted to let you know that dev is being prayed for/taken care of, and is seems stable and grounded these last couple of days.(: okay well love you a lot, and hope you're having a nice night. take care.(:
love, Lo
p.s. aunty joy cut all of our hair yesterday too. she cut devon's hair into a fauxhawk (like a mohawk but not fully shaved on the side) and we took some really funny pictures of him that you'll like! but then she cut it regular so it wouldn't be too crazy. he looks very clean cut.(:

The memorial service was beautiful. I sat in the back of the sanctuary and felt the awesome grace of God. He chose Gail to reach out and touch so many lives. She had such an amazing gift. Although we are sad for the loss of an angel on earth, I know Gail is rejoicing in Heaven and surrounded by angels. I once listened to Don Piper discuss his 90 minutes in Heaven. He described the incredible joy and beauty that he witnessed while there. I KNOW Gail is finally home.

I’ve been away for many years and haven’t had the opportunity to catch up with Gail and John. As I was listening to everyone share their experiences with her, I felt at home with a close friend. I laughed and cried at the same time as I remembered my special moments with her.

Thank you John and Devon for sharing her life with us. I pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Love Dawn (chewy)
