Gail went home to be with our Heavenly Father this morning around 5am
after they removed the ventilator. Jon hasn't slept yet and is busy
making funeral arrangements. The thing about Jon and Gail is that
they were always taking care of others so of course Jon is busying
himself making sure that everyone will have a chance to say goodbye to
Gail. Please pray that Jon will be able to get some rest today.
While he appreciates everyone concern, please hold off any telephone
calls till after 6:00pm (and I'm thinking a even later than that) If
you need to get a hold of him or need any further information please
contact me at (619) 865-4019.
TENTATIVELY a service in Northern California will be on held on Monday
June 11th and another service will be in Southern California on
Sunday June 24th. Time and location still need to be determined for
both.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and love. Jon shared
today that he was able to take his laptop into the room with Gail and
he read all the blog comments and from them his fear turned to courage
and then to love.

Summertimes come and gone
The leaves are slowly falling
The other day my mother heard the voice of Jesus calling
It said come on with me my child and I'll take away your strife
So mama went to sleep on this side and woke up in paradise
Oh but how I miss her so
More than you'll ever know
How I miss her so
More than you'll ever know
How I miss her so
More than you'll ever know
When I was a little child
Mama rocked me in her arms
She protected me from danger
And she kept me safe and warm
But mama is not here now and I'm standing by myself
But as long as I've got Jesus i dont need nobody else
Oh but how I miss her so
More than you'll ever know
Like yesterday I missed her so
More than you'll ever know
How I miss her so
More than you'll ever know
Dear Jon & Devon,
We are so deeply grieving over loss of Gail. She was such a gentle, caring and loving person. We were so privileged to have had her warm friendship touch our lives. You are in our prayers and please let us know if our family could help.
With loving memories,
Karen, Bruce, Tyler & Cameron Hunt
Hey Big Daddy-o and Devon,
Though I am heart stricken with sadness, I am assured that God has welcomed Gail with loving, open arms saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant"(Matt 25:21) I feel blessed to have had Gail in my life- she was an inspiration and no doubt...a true woman of God. Know that I love you, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
love in Him,

People Who Love Gail,
People have been asking how they can help with Gail's memorial service on Monday,June 11 at 7:00 pm, Mariners Church, Shoreline Station, 225 S. Cabrillo Hwy. Half Moon Bay. If you would like to bring dessert for 10-12 to the service please contact me at holmzfam@sonic.net. Mariners and Big Wave are setting up a Memorial Fund as well, but I don't have the details yet. Good morning Jon, Devin and family
We are all so saddened by Gail and her passing to be with our Lord Jesus. Her memories of her love and concern for everyone will live with us forever.
Jackson spent the night as Juli and Kirk wanted to be with all of you so much to pray with you in your time of deep loss and sadness. Juli,Kirk and Jackson came back so uplifted each time they would visit and have sleepovers all the time and was so welcomed by Gails open arms no matter when they dropped over to spend time with you. How great it was to hear of the walks they would take to the beach with you and your family and the bridge that seemed to be built just for Gail so she can walk across to town to buy groceries to make your favorite mexican food. After their visits Jackson would talk about Devin for days and wants to see him again soon.
This morning as Jackson blessed our food for breakfast, it is amazing how this little guy of 5 knows Jesus and this was his prayer, "Dear Jesus, thank you for this day and for Jon and Devin and now Auntie Gail can see grandpa Gary and Uncle Paul, thank you for this food, Amen" He is just such a great kid.
In 2nd Samuel 12-23 David reminds us that death is not final, that it is only a temporary seperation from the one we love. it may help us to lessen the pain but of course it doesn't go away, because a piece of our heart is missing, a piece that has gone on ahead. we pray for your comfort and strength at this hard time of your loss.
Don and Dottie
Hey J and D Yosh --
Someone that I've never met posted this for you guys, on the @U2 Forum. That's the U2 fan forum where I moderate on, and I have a few prayer partners on there as well. Anyway, this is what she posted...

grieving. This song is dedicated to those who are hurting over a loss of friend or family. Also for my friend ;-), you know who you are....love ya Bro.
--------------------------
Weak and wounded sinner,
Lost and left to die,
O, raise your head for Love is passing by,
Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus and live,
Now your burden's lifted,
And carried far away,
And precious blood has washed away the stain... so
Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus and live,
And like a newborn baby,
Don't be afraid to crawl,
And remember when you walk sometimes we fall... so
Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus and live,
Sometimes the way is lonely,
And steep and filled with pain,
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain... then
Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus and live,
O, and when the love splills over,
And music fills the night,
And when you can't contain you joy inside... then
Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus and live,
And with your final heartbeat,
Kiss the world goodbye,
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side... and
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus and live,
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus,
Fly to Jesus and live
